Through the turbulent years for the 1960s to ’80s in Latin America, women’s artistic practices heralded a brand new period of experimentation and revolution that is social. The Brooklyn Museum’s ‘Radical Women: Latin United states Art, 1960–1985’ (formerly in the Hammer Museum in l. A. ) assembles a lot more than 120 of those underrepresented Latin American, Latina and Chicana musicians, spanning 15 nations like the US, whom worked variously in artwork, photography, video clip, performance and conceptual art.
